Maxillofacial trauma

Maxillofacial trauma, is any physical trauma to the face. Facial trauma can involve soft tissue injuries such as lacerations and bruises, or fractures of the facial bones such as fractures of the both upper and lower  jaw, nasal bone, and orbital bones which can be treated by open reduction and internal fixation.

Maxillofacial pathology

Un-infected cyst, well defined radiolucent area surrounded by sharp radioopaque margin, generally, treatment includes enucleation of the cyst and/or surgical excision,

Orthognathic surgery

Orthognathic surgery is done to reposition the maxilla, mandible, or chin is the mainstay treatment for patients who are too old for growth modification and for dentofacial conditions that are too severe for either surgical or orthodontic camouflage.

Oral oncology

Cancer that forms in tissues of the oral cavity or the oropharynx (the part of the throat at the back of the mouth). Treatments for oral cancer can include a combination of surgery (to remove the tumor and regional lymph nodes) along with radiation therapy and chemotherapy

Impacted third molar removal

Impacted tooth is a tooth which is completely or partially unerupted and is positioned against another tooth, bone or soft tissue so that its further eruption is unlikely, described according to its anatomic position and it might require a surgical removal.

Dentoalveolar surgery

Dentoalvelolar surgery is done for treating fractures related to dentoalveolar structures surrounding the tooh.

Implant

 surgery to place the dental implant, your oral surgeon makes a cut to open your gum and expose the bone. Holes are drilled into the bone where the dental implant metal post will be placed. Since the post will serve as the tooth root, it’s implanted deep into the bone.

Cleft surgery

Cleft lip and cleft palate repair is surgery to fix birth defects of the upper lip and palate (roof of the mouth)

Incision & drainage

Incision and drainage and clinical lancing are minor surgical procedures to release pus or pressure built up under the skin, such as from an abscess, boil, or infected paranasal sinus.
