Department of Public health Dentistry, Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental college in colloboration with National Service scheme (NSS) & Rotary club of Pondicherry Agaram, Pondicherry conducted a community dental camp in Mouniyam pettai Village, Marakanam District, Tamil Nadu on 15th September, 2021 from 10.00am to 1 pm. Dr. Kuldeep Singh, MDS., Dr. G.Shobana, MDS., CRRI dental students (Department of Public health Dentistry) were screened 95 patients. According to the age groups, oral health education ( different types of Brushing techniques and dietary instruction) were given. Created awareness on ill effects of smoking and smokeless form of tobacco products. All the tobacco using people were referred to Tobacco Cessation clinic, Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental college, Aeiyur, Puducherry. Pamphlets, Toothpaste and tooth brush were distributed to all the people.
